Streetly Photographic Club (formerly Aston and Erdington Photographic Society) are North Birmingham's premier photographic club.

We welcome new members of all abilities and are supportive of all who are wanting to learn more about all aspects of photography. The club meets on Monday evenings during school term time at the All Saints Parish Church Hall, Foley Road East, Streetly, Sutton Coldfield, B74 3JL, just north of Birmingham. 

We offer a warm welcome to visitors and new members.  We are always happy to see you.

On the 9th December, we have Brian Dowdall DPAGB, AFIAP, BPE2* with his talk "My Photography".

The following evening, the 10th December, we have an Interclub Competition with Walsall Wood and Brownhills CC at their home venue in Brownhills.

The following Monday the 16th is our annual Quiz Evening  with Steve and Lin Johnson asking the questions.  We then break-up for a couple of weeks and return in the New Year on 6th January 2025.

​​Our thanks this week go to Ralph Duckett for his judging of our 2nd PDI Merit Competition.  As usual he was accompanyed by Lu Duckett.  It's always a pleasure to see both with Ralph on form with his constructive cricticism.  He did a great job with quite a large entry.  Thank you again Ralph & Lu.

Walter Wilcox LPRS

It is with great sadness that I have to report that Walter Wilcox passed away on the 1st November 2024.  He had been fighting illness for a few years now.

Walter had been a member of Aston & Erdington PS and then Streetly PC since the early 70s.

His funeral will take place on Wednesday 20th November 11.30 at Sandwell Crematorium, Newton Road then afterwards at the Aston Manor Cricket Club, Church Road, Perry Barr, B42 2LB all are welcome.

Affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Midland Counties Photographic Federation.
